Barmouth to Fort William Three Peaks Yacht Race - June 25th
Yachts leave the harbour at 3.00pm. The race proceeds to Caernarfon where two crew members race to the summit of Snowdon and return, then on to Whitehaven for the ascent of Scafell Pike and finally to Fort William and Ben Nevis. Race start in Barmouth is preceded by a procession of the yachts from the harbour to the start line off shore, with many events on the quayside to entertain the onlookers.
